How to Relieve Shoulder and Neck Stiffness

I have noticed that following some of the swim sessions, I have a little stiffness around my neck and shoulders. I know that you are not a fan of static stretching, but I wonder if you have any thoughts on any action that I might be able to take to limit the symptoms. I would love to combine some of the general mobility work you prescribe into post-swim -- to join the dots, but perhaps limit stress. I think it will also save time in the week to split apart from the gym if that is suitable. Thanks.
