Purple Patch Fitness is seeking a dynamic General Manager and partner to lead and scale our world-class Performance Center in San Francisco. This is not just a job—it’s an opportunity to own, shape, and grow a premier training facility under a proven methodology.

Part-Time - Video and Audio Podcast and Content Producer:
Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote Optional):
As the Video Content Producer at Purple Patch Fitness, you will transform raw footage into engaging, brand-approved video content that resonates with our global audience. This includes post-producing our podcasts, training videos, and other multimedia content, ensuring that all materials are polished, professional, and aligned with our brand identity. You will work closely with our coaching staff, marketing team, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality content that is accessible, informative, and inspiring for athletes at every level
Responsibilities:
Podcast Post-Production Audio and Video: Edit and produce video and audio content for our podcasts. The successful candidate is proficient in generating transcripts, audio mixing and editing, writing show notes, and integrations with our website and Squadcast.
Video Post Production: Training modules, webinars, social media, and projects as assigned, ensuring high-quality visuals, sound, and overall production value. Produce and post the online podcast copy.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content adheres to Purple Patch’s brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone, style, and messaging across all platforms.
Content Coordination: Collaborate with coaches, subject matter experts, and the marketing team to plan, develop, and deliver video content that aligns with our training programs and marketing objectives.
Technical Expertise: Manage video editing software, audio mixing, color grading, and other post-production tools to enhance the quality of our content.
Creative Development: Contribute to the creative process by suggesting new ideas, formats, and techniques for video content that can further engage and expand our audience.
Accessibility: Ensure all content is accessible, including adding captions, translations, and other features that make our content available to a diverse, global audience.
Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
Quality Control: Review and provide feedback on video content, making adjustments as needed to meet Purple Patch’s high standards of excellence.
Technical Troubleshooting: Address any technical issues during post-production, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
The Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a great team player with a proven ability to work with various abilities and ages. In addition, the ideal candidate must have a professional service mindset and exemplary communication skills as well as the following:
Experience: 3+ years in video production, editing, and post-production, preferably in the fitness, sports, or wellness industries.
Skills: Proficiency in editing software (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut), audio mixing, color grading, motion graphics, 3D, and compositing. Familiarity with AI video creation and editing tools is a bonus.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and experience with AWS, Google Drive, and Vimeo.
Content Creation: A demonstrated portfolio of consumer-facing content for social/digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
Design & Animation: Graphic design and animation expertise are highly valued.
Communication: Excellent communication, writing, and spelling/grammar skills.
Creative & Detail-Oriented: Impeccable eye for visual style, branding, and storytelling.
Education: A BS in film, media production, communications, or a related field is preferred.
Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with standards and fitness/endurance sports is a plus.
BONUS: If you have a demonstrated ability to grow new followers, boost audience engagement and brand awareness via CDN, and are competent with audience analytics, this role could be expanded beyond video editing.

Independent Contractor
This role ranges from 15-25 hrs per week based on ongoing projects. Compensation will be paid at a fixed monthly rate. Compensation for this role will be determined depending on work volume, availability, and skill set. Plus:
