Every athlete understands that food is fuel, but the demands of daily life often lead to ineffective nutrition choices. These choices can derail the wellness and mind-body connection of even the strongest athlete. Working with a nutritionist can empower you to make fueling choices that will help you reach your athletic potential. Purple Patch is proud to offer nutritional services by two highly-regarded dietician’s.
Both nutritionists will create a plan that fits with your life to enhance body composition, recovery, sleep, and overall health. Below is more information on each nutritionist.
Meet Fuelin and Scott Tindal:
Fuelin is the world's first training-based nutrition app. It provides personalized guidance on nutrition and fueling to be your best in training, racing and life. The Fuelin app syncs directly with your Purple Patch coaches’ program via TodaysPlan. It integrates with food-tracking apps MyFitnessPal and LoseIt to offer real-time tracking of macronutrient intake.
Fuelin removes the guesswork & eliminates decision paralysis. Every meal before, during and after training is accounted for. This makes it easy to know how and what to eat daily to achieve your goals. Fuelin utilizes a simple traffic light system for carbohydrate periodization. The platform also allows athletes to track sweat rate and carbohydrate capacity. The program is focused on education and community with in-app coaching features to bring everything you need to perform your best.
Meet Kyla Channell:
Kyla’s approach is to create individual periodized nutrition suggestions to support an athlete's changing training stimulus throughout a training block as well as over the year or season. The consults create a framework and plan to excel an athlete’s performance.
$450 Per consult
Program Includes:
75-minute initial consultation examining sleep, eating, and training habits
30-minute follow up Skype session (2 weeks after initial consult)
Detailed nutrition plan that fits into your lifestyle
Roadmap for enhanced body composition, recovery, sleep, and overall health
Specific race strategy based on distance and training habits
(if applicable) Women specific fueling strategies based on hormone fluctuations and cycle variations
