For me so much of it is about the community of people - no matter where you are in the world, there is always someone from Purple Patch that is there - willing to have a meal or a coffee or lend a helping hand. It is absolutely amazing.

I chose Purple Patch because I believe strongly that for every athlete there is a different recipe for success - from nutrition, to rest, to taper, to intensity and volume. Coaches may have philosophies, but they must be willing to be less cookie cutter and more dynamic in their training. For me Matt and the Purple Patch team are this and more. Matt has learned what I do and don't respond well to and has evolved a program for me that works. I'm very grateful for that and for the coach-athlete relationship I have developed with Matt, Paul and his team over the last 6 years.
